plantsbookは管理者トンマイが運営しています。
トンマイの居住地である東京都世田谷区やその周辺、旅行先等で見かけた樹木の紹介をしています。
もともと植物に詳しいわけではありませんが、普段街路樹や（よそ様の）庭木、公園などで見かける木の名前もほとんどわからないことから一念発起し、少しずつ勉強して、写真などをアップロードしています。
その記録がplantsbookです。
珍しい木を探すのでもなく、美しい木、有名な木を求めているわけでもなく、日常生活の延長で見かけた木が興味の中心です。
不勉強で間違いもあるかもしれません。もし見つけられたら、ご指摘をいただければ幸いです。
ちなみに、クスノキをとりあえず覚えたところ、生活圏に非常に多くのクスノキの大木があったことに気づきました。こういうのは大事にしなくては。
文章を書くのは大変なので、写真中心のサイトになる見込みです。カメラを毎日持ち歩けるわけではないですが、できるだけ更新していきます。

plantsbook is managed by the administrator, Tonmai.
The website introduces trees in Setagaya-ward, Tokyo where Tonmai lives and around there or found at destinations.
Tonmai has not been familiar with plants, however, started to upload photographs, lerning trees because of feeling shame of so much trees which Tonmai doesn't know.
The record is plantsbook.
Tonmai is interested in trees with daily life, not finding strange, beautiful famouns trees.
When Tonmai identified KUSUNOKI (camphor tree) at the beginning, Tonmai found so many KUSUNOKIs in the living area. That should be taken cared.
Since Writing sentences is hard, this webiste will compose mainly photographs. Though Tonmai cannot be with a camera everyday, I will upload them as much as possible.
